"Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we know all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?"
- L. M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

oh an anne of green gables quote! and such a wise concept too. i'm always asking questions which the mister tries to answer. it drives me crazy because i am a lover of questions and wonderings, but he likes answers and knowing exactly how things work in life. we keep things spicy i guess. :)

Beautiful post! I love the picture and the quote both. And it is so true too. I need to remember that - I am always trying to "figure out" my life...but all that planning sometimes takes away the adventure and spontaneity!

Confession: I've never read Anne of Green Gables. Maybe it needs to make it to my reading list this summer?? How did I ever miss that book, especially if it contains gorgeous quotes like this one.
