When ten years worth of rain fell in the course of only one week in Pakistan in late July of last year, no one could have foreseen this wild result: millions of spiders rushed up into the trees to escape the water and literally cocooned them with their webs. These amazing photos were taken by the UK Department for International Development, which is still addressing the glaring humanitarian needs facing the millions of people affected by the floods.
